Introductory Yoga

The one-week long yoga classes will comprise of basic asanas, pranayamas, kriyas, meditation and relaxation. Throughout this week, the students will also become familiar with the basic philosophy of yoga, and overall benefits of Asanas and Pranayamas.

 

Asanas not only aim at improving the overall development and toning of the physical body and flexibility, but also help in developing emotional balance and mental well being of a person. Pranayams are essentially breathing exercises that help strengthen the respiratory system and also provide relaxation by soothing the mind and facilitating concentration.

 

Rajni is a qualified Hatha yoga teacher with 18 years of extensive teaching experience in the UAE and India for individuals and groups. She has trained for 15 years under her guru from the Bihar School of Yoga as well as done her teachers training course from the Yoga Institute in Mumbai headed by Mrs. Hansa Jaidev. She is currently based in Gurgaon and teaching at The Leela, Gurgaon.
