METTĀ–PAÑÑĀ RETREAT Loving-Kindness (Mettā) and Insight (Vipassanā) Led by Venerable Bhikkhu Anand Thero

This one-week residential retreat offers simple, direct, and practical meditation techniques that can be applied both in daily life and in deeper insight practice. Emphasis is placed on cultivating mindfulness and inner peacefulness in all postures and activities—whether sitting, walking, or engaging in daily tasks. The course includes guided sitting and walking meditation sessions, with mindful awareness extended into all aspects of retreat life. Through sustained practice, participants learn to gradually overcome fear, stress, anxiety, and worry, and to experience greater freedom, joy, and the art of letting go.

Understanding the Supreme Buddha and his path is regarded as one of the greatest privileges in life, and developing faith grounded in wisdom (paññā) is an even more excellent achievement. This retreat aims to open an experiential understanding of the nature of the Buddha’s Enlightenment and to guide participants in gradually imbibing those liberating qualities of loving-kindness, clarity, and insight into their own lives.
