“…Ngondro is the foundation of all Vajrayana practice and therefore even more important than the so-called main practice”      – Not for Happiness, Dzongsar Jamyang Khyentse Rinpoche.

This intensive Ngondro retreat will provide a overview of the entire Ngondro practice with teachings, demonstrations and support from Khenpo Sonam Phuntsok and authorised instructors.

It is an opportunity for Ngondro students to deepen their understanding of the theory and to gain more experience and confidence in their practice.

Retreat will start at 9am on 26th Oct and conclude on the evening of November 1st.

There will be sessions of group practice, group prayers, and group discussion.

There are many blessings from practicing in holy places where great teachers have visited or practiced before. Deer Park institute was the seat of Dzongsar Institute for over 20 years. Dzongsar Jamyang Khyentse Rinpoche, other tulkus and lamas have taught, studied and practiced in the Institute making it a most auspicious place for retreat.

This program is free of charge and open to anyone enrolled in Ngöndro Gar. Chinese translation will be available.

This retreat will be led by Melitis Kwong, Tsering Chodron and Shan Lan Lee, instructors authorized by Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche.
