Abhidharmakosha by Vasubandu, first three chapters led by Ven. Khenpo Sonam Phuntsok

Abhidharmakosha is a classic buddhist philosophy text written by the 4th century Indian master Vasubandhu. He and his half brother Arya Asanga played a pivotal role in reviving and strengthening the Abhidharma teachings which had been declined due to many factors.
Abhidharma kosha explains dharma (phenomena) included within the sphere of samsara and nirvana in the most detailed form. It primarily outlines the kleshas that bind us and a complete roadmap of the means to identify and transcend these defilements and attain the state of liberation from klesha, karma and suffering. In all, this text helps us to navigate through the four noble truths in entirety in one single package.

Sonam Phuntshok is a student of Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche and has done his studies at the Dzongsar Institute.
