Chasing Rainbows Retreat with Dr. Nivedita Chalill
For so many of us, life feels like a constant chase. We run to catch buses, trains, promotions, money, relationships, and all the things we believe will finally bring us happiness. But how often do we truly stop to ask ourselves—Why am I chasing this? How real is it? Will it truly take me to the happiness I long for?
“Chasing Rainbows” is a gentle metaphor for all those things we pursue, hoping they’ll complete us. This five-day experiential workshop is an invitation to pause, take a deep breath, and gently explore what it is we’re running after. Together, we’ll ask the big questions: What am I chasing? For what purpose? And quite importantly, we’ll also turn our gaze to the habits we form along the way—and notice how these habits shape our lives, often without us even realizing.
This 5-day workshop is planned like a journey, one step at a time—from exploration to reflection, and from insight to meaningful action. Rooted in the timeless wisdom of Buddhist teachings and the Nalanda tradition of Study-Contemplation-Meditation, this workshop is an invitation to understand ourselves and the rainbows we chase with a little bit more wisdom and compassion.
