Jeevan Vidya Workshop, Exploring Life, Harmony & Co-existence (An introduction to Madhyasth Darshan) led by Ankit Pogula
The Jeevan Vidya Workshop is a five-day immersive introduction to the insights of Madhyasth Darshan, a philosophical framework on human life and coexistence propounded by Shri A. Nagraj. The framework explores the nature of human life, relationships, and the possibility of harmony in existence.
Through reflective dialogue and interactive sessions, the workshop invites participants to engage with fundamental questions around the purpose of life, the nature of happiness, and unraveling ‘human aspiration’. It introduces key proposals of Madhyasth Darshan that explore harmony across multiple dimensions of existence—the Self, relationships, society, nature, and the wider order of existence.
The workshop creates a space for inquiry, reflection, and dialogue, where participants can explore ideas of happiness, success, harmony, education, and one’s role in the larger order of life. The process will be dialogue-based, including group discussions and selected film screenings that deepen reflection and enable one to draw connections of our thoughts, desires and global phenomena.
The workshop will be facilitated by Ankit Pogula, a documentary filmmaker and educationist engaged with the study and dissemination of Madhyasth Darshan. Based at Manav Teerth in Chhattisgarh, he works on youth & education programs and is part of the team running Prerana Vidyalaya, a CBSE school integrating Jeevan Vidya into formal education. He was one of the key members that developed the Happiness Curriculum for the Delhi government and continues to work on holistic education, curriculum design, and teacher training with SCERTs and AICTE. His latest documentary, Bheḍ Chāl, won Best Documentary on Nature at the DokuBaku International Film Festival and was shortlisted for the Green Oscars.
