NDG Retreat at Deer Park Institute : Dec 8 – Dec 14, 2019

This intensive Ngondro retreat will provide a overview of the entire Ngondro practice with teachings, demonstrations and support from Khenpo Sonam Phuntsok and authorised instructors.

It is an opportunity for Ngondro students to deepen their understanding of the theory and to gain more experience and confidence in their practice. There will be sessions of group practice, group prayers, and group discussion.

The first 5 days of retreat will include teaching and instruction as well as practice sessions.

The last 2 days will focus more on personal intensive practice.

There’s the option to attend only the first 5 days from December 8 till December 12th.

Registration and orientation will be at 4 pm on December 7th.

Retreat will start at 6:30 am on December 8th and conclude on the evening of December 14th.

There are many blessings from practicing in holy places where great teachers have visited or practiced before. Deer Park institute was the seat of Dzongsar Institute for over 20 years. Dzongsar Jamyang Khyentse Rinpoche, other tulkus and lamas have taught, studied and practiced in the Institute making it a most auspicious place for retreat.

This program is free of charge and open to anyone enrolled in Ngöndro Gar. Chinese translation will be available.

This retreat will be led by Melitis Kwong, and Longdrol Szeto, instructors authorized by Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche.
