The Displaced Lens: A Refugee Film Festival with Myanmar Film Tour 2025

Deer Park Institute, Bir, in collaboration with Myanmar Film Tour 2025

The Displaced Lens is a Refugee Film Festival dedicated to amplifying the voices and stories of displaced communities from around the world. Through a curated selection of powerful films—ranging from intimate documentaries to poignant narratives—this festival sheds light on the human experience of exile, migration, and resilience. It invites audiences to witness the journeys of those who have been forced to leave their homes, challenging stereotypes and inspiring empathy, awareness, and action. More than a film event, the festival is a space for dialogue, reflection, and solidarity—where cinema becomes a bridge between worlds and a catalyst for social change.
